I’M BACK~ from the stress of studies and a holiday in Victoria, Australia. The scenery there was stunning and it really helped to build up my visual library for the landscapes I enjoy doing. But this journal isn't to praise the natural endowments of the Down Under (don’t…), so let’s just begin from the beginning...
7 months ago, my initial plan was to sign up as a deviantArtist after my ‘A’ level examinations but eagerness led me to start early. So as my completed examination scripts are being sent to Cambridge for marking, I shall be more involved in posting my works on deviantArt!
Breaking the last few months of inactivity at last, it does feel as if I've begun again as a deviantArtist. Here I'll also like to thank every watcher I have the honour of obtaining and every fav I've amassed thus far.
Also, I’m not to forgetting the llama badges and point donations.
Thank you all truly for your support. (And if returning a llama has slipped my mind, drop me a note and I’ll drop you one of those furry little badges *while stocks last*)
As many of you are new Watchers to my page and I so do appreciate everyone’s donation, llamas, comments and faves. The clinching of a Daily Deviation is my first and I’m overwhelmed by the
(what I assume to be usual) amount of support received through the award. The ballooning of my usual meager inbox of a dozen to the hundreds really took me aback, but like, keep em coming of course.
As I continually improve though constant practice and observation, I welcome all comments on my artworks. I absolutely adore the encouragement, constructive criticism and anecdotes posted under my works. (Spams and rick rolls less so)
While you guys look at the art, I look at the comments, and it becomes a common page for both artist and audience to learn simultaneously. So poetic, I know… Much deep, very meaning.
All in all, this journal is done to express my thanks to the overwhelming support I have received since I've started. Couldn't have gotten this far without you guys and there is lots more to go...
Just a heads up though, I’ll be joining the army in early Feb next year. Killjoy, I know. National service will render me less able to provide timely updates to my gallery though I expect to still be doing art should I find the time. In spite of this, I sincerely hope you'll join me in my aesthetic journey, fellow deviants.
Up and on.
